Ingredients

Serves : 30
  • 1 kgs raw banana


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 nos jaggery(big piece)


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1/4 cups sugar powdered


  • 2 tsp drioed ginger(powdered)


  • 2 tsp cumins(powdered)


  • 250 ml oil(for deep frying)


  • 4 cups water

Directions

  • Peel the raw bananas and slice it to square shape
  • Drop this pieces to the water.Also add a pinch turmeric powder and salt to it.
  • After some time drain of the water.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and drop these drained pieces and fry them.and keep them aside.
  • Add water to jaggery and heat it to get thick concentration sugar pani.
  • Again dilute it to make it softer and add dried ginger and cumin powders to it.
  • Add the fried pieces to the mix and stir well so that sugar pani will be covering all the pieces.
  • Switch off the flame and sprinkle the sugar powder and mix them well,this should be done after cooling.
  • NOTES : White Jaggery will best to choose.
  • Raw bananas should be good ones.
  • Drop pieces only after the oil is properly heated.
  • Cook in high flame in for the first few min, then in medium flame,else it will not be cooked properly.
